The EMERGE Alliance was proudly represented at the European Universities Student Ambassadors’ Forum (EUSAF) 2026 in Warsaw, bringing together student ambassadors from European Universities Alliances to exchange ideas, share experiences, and contribute to discussions on the future of higher education in Europe.

Organised by the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in collaboration with the Erasmus Student Network as part of the EUC Voices project, EUSAF provides a platform where student representatives from European Universities Alliances strengthen cooperation, share best practices, and contribute recommendations for the future of European higher education.

Representing EMERGE at this year’s forum was Kmayha Dani from Neapolis University Pafos. Throughout the event, he engaged with fellow student ambassadors from across Europe, exchanged perspectives on student participation, and explored opportunities for stronger collaboration between European university alliances.

Reflecting on his experience, Kmayha Dani said:

“I represented the EMERGE Alliance at the European Union Student Ambassador Forum (EUSAF26) as a participant. The event was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with students from across Europe, build new connections, and learn about collaboration between European university alliances. It was a valuable experience that gave me new perspectives and strengthened my international network.”

Strengthening Student Engagement Across Europe

Participation in EUSAF reflects EMERGE’s commitment to placing students at the centre of the Alliance. By bringing together ambassadors from different countries, academic backgrounds, and university alliances, the forum promotes dialogue on the future of higher education while strengthening a shared European identity.

For EMERGE, these opportunities enable students to engage with peers from across Europe, exchange experiences, and contribute to discussions on topics affecting the future of universities, student participation, and international cooperation.

Advancing the EMERGE Mission

Student participation in EUSAF supports EMERGE’s commitment to inclusion, multilingualism, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship. By engaging with fellow ambassadors from across Europe, EMERGE students strengthen the Alliance’s international network while bringing new ideas and perspectives back to their universities.

These experiences also contribute to the development of important transversal skills, including intercultural communication, collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking. Such competencies form an important part of the EMERGE educational experience and prepare students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected European society.

Looking Ahead

EMERGE will continue to encourage student participation in European initiatives that promote collaboration, innovation, and active engagement. Through mobility opportunities, student activities, EMERGE Hubs, and international events, the Alliance continues to create opportunities for students to shape the future of higher education.

The participation of Kmayha Dani at EUSAF 2026 demonstrates EMERGE’s commitment to empowering students to represent their universities at the European level, strengthen international cooperation, and contribute to a more connected and inclusive European Higher Education Area.
