EMERGE Governing Board, Student Advisory Board and Project Management Team Meetings

The EMERGE Alliance governance bodies will convene at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica for a two-day meeting bringing together members of the Governing Board, the Student Advisory Board, and the Project Management Team.

The programme includes plenary discussions, governance meetings, and thematic sessions addressing key developments across the Alliance. Topics include the EMERGE plurilingual policy, community engagement activities, and coordination between work packages. Meetings will also provide space for strategic dialogue among work package leads, local coordinators, and student representatives.

Alongside the governance sessions, the programme includes cultural and community activities hosted by Matej Bel University and the city of Banská Bystrica. These include a campus tour, a cultural outing, and a cultural programme at the State Opera in Banská Bystrica featuring a performance of Georges Bizet’s Carmen.

The meeting contributes to the coordination of the EMERGE Alliance and supports collaboration among its partner universities as they advance joint activities in education, research, community engagement, and mobility across Europe.
