Master LEA International Week: An International Perspective on Digital Transformation

From 7 to 11 September 2026, students of the Master’s programme in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA) at Université Rennes 2 will take part in an International Week focused on digital transformation and the challenges it presents for organisations.

The week brings together academics and professionals from several countries, with contributions from across the EMERGE European University Alliance and beyond. Guest speakers include experts from Neapolis University Pafos in Cyprus and the University of Limerick in Ireland, alongside academics and professionals from Australia, Colombia and Argentina.

The programme explores topics including human-centred artificial intelligence, AI adoption, marketing, the future of work and digital transformation in industry. A round table will also bring students into dialogue with representatives of Breton companies, offering a local perspective on how businesses are responding to digital change.

The International Week combines lectures, international exchange and collaborative learning. Students will work in groups to develop research questions, collect resources and prepare final presentations with guidance from academic tutors. The week concludes with group presentations on Friday 11 September.

Selected sessions will be open online to staff and students from EMERGE partner universities.
